About the role
- Design, implement, and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across email, endpoint, cloud, and data platforms
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to DLP alerts and potential data leakage incidents
- Participate in peer review activities, including control assessments, security design reviews, and change approvals
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of information security policies, standards, and procedures
- Work closely with IT, compliance, and risk teams to ensure alignment with Lloyd’s and regulatory requirements
- Support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory requests relating to data protection and information security
- Provide guidance and best practice recommendations to stakeholders on secure data handling
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in an Information Security, Cyber Security, or Technology Risk role
- Proven hands-on experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and controls
- Experience participating in peer reviews, security assessments, or control validation activities
- Strong understanding of data protection principles and information security frameworks
- Experience working in a regulated environment (insurance, financial services, or Lloyd’s Market preferred)
