• Design electrical circuits and PCBs for LED drivers, control systems, and power electronics.
• Utilize Altium Designer for PCB layouts; maintain all ECAD data.
• Develop early-phase R&D prototypes and proof-of-concept designs.
• Create, execute, and document hardware validation plans.
• Support UL certification on new product development.
• Drive continuous product improvements and iteration through field analysis and root cause investigation.
• Design and implement production test fixtures for PCBA validation at volume.
• Manage assigned projects end-to-end; maintain timelines, escalate risks, communicate status proactively.
• Own BOM accuracy for assigned products; verify components against design requirements.
• Validate incoming parts and assemblies against design specifications.
• Manage component alternate approvals and proactively qualify alternates.
• Support internal SMT/PCBA process as a technical expert.
• Forensic analysis of electrical field returns and internal defects; drive corrective actions.
