About the role
- Acting as a liaison between our local management team and corporate shared services to ensure a successful partnership between Human Resources and our operations
- Working with local leadership to implement HR programs that support strategies and plans to focus on people selection, engagement, and retention
- Providing effective employee relations counseling and conflict management and resolution methods
- Proactively working with business leaders to resolve and support HR-related issues and concerns
- Supporting and advising on legal matters relating to compliance, state and federal regulations, and potential impacts on employees and operations
- Ensuring the successful rollout of various corporate programs, including performance management and staff onboarding
- Coordinating tasks and working with the Recruiting Team to oversee an effective recruitment strategy for our local operations
Requirements
- 5+ years experience working in HR in a Generalist role
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in HR is preferred
- Bilingual (English and Spanish-speaking)
- Solid background in and working knowledge of applicable legislation, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, and general employment issues
- Proven experience in handling complex negotiations and sensitive information
- Proven ability to show an understanding of financial and business metrics
- Understanding of conflict resolution practices and methods
- Proficient knowledge of Google Suite
