About the role

  • Responsibility for managing and strategically developing a key account portfolio with a focus on the Austrian Federal Railways and Luxembourg railways.
  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships at decision-maker and project levels.
  • Identifying and developing new market and business opportunities within the sales territory.
  • Planning and conducting customer visits, presentations and business meetings.
  • Preparing quotations and managing the proposal process.
  • Close collaboration with Marketing, Project Management and internal specialist departments to implement the sales strategy.
  • Preparing monthly forecasts for order intake, unit numbers, revenue and contribution margin.
  • Representing the company at trade fairs and industry events.
  • Maintaining the CRM in accordance with company guidelines.

Requirements

  • Completed degree or vocational training in electrical engineering, sales or a related field.
  • Several years of professional experience in sales and key account management, ideally in the rail or public transport sector.
  • Strong customer focus and a confident presence at decision‑maker level.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Structured, independent and goal‑oriented working style.
  • Confident user of MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM).
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
