About the role
- Responsible for taking over, managing and strategically developing an established key account portfolio
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Identifying and developing new market and business opportunities
- Planning and conducting customer visits, presentations and business meetings
- Preparing proposals and leading the proposal process in a structured manner
- Collaborating closely with Marketing, Project Management and internal specialist departments
- Preparing monthly forecasts
Requirements
- Degree or vocational training in business administration, sales or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in sales and key account management, ideally in the rail or public transport (ÖPNV) sector
- Strong understanding of customer needs
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficient user of MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally internationally
