About the role

  • Perform installation of hardware and software of medical imaging radiographic systems, components, and accessories to ensure conformance with market specifications
  • Identify issues and communicate with Product Support Specialist (PSS) or Imaging System Project Manager (ISPM) to address incompatibilities/concerns
  • Make recommendations for corrections or process changes
  • Interface with internal and external customers for project coordination and address installation challenges/discrepancies
  • Complete all required documentation in a timely manner
  • Assist with technical training within assigned product family, including installation guidance for local personnel
  • Assist in investigation of product complaints dispositioned within the Quality Review Board (QRB) process
  • Maintain technical expertise on HCUS product offerings and stay abreast of industry trends through continuous education
  • Assess new techniques and current work practices to reduce service costs and increase installation efficiency
  • Participate in customer pre-installation site visits as necessary
  • Adhere to Company quality and regulatory compliance requirements, including U.S. FDA and ISO 13485

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other related field OR comparable education and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years technical or military related professional experience
  • Experience with Case Management reporting and tracking tools
  • Strong working knowledge of current network technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of current IT technologies and common business productivity software (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Power Point, MS Visio)
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, excellent telephone manner
  • Ability to achieve results and meet goals in a fast-paced, rapidly changing team environment
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be open to travel to assignment locations across the country and can live within the identified Zone
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours and holidays to meet business needs
  • Comply with all applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements and ISO 13485 standard requirements
  • Physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing up to 50% of applicable work time; frequently lift/move items up to 50 pounds; manual dexterity to manipulate power tools and hand tools up to 50% of applicable work time; talk and hear 50% of applicable work time; sit up to 50% of applicable work time
  • Travel: Frequent (up to 75%) travel required
