About the role

  • Engage in business development of Fujifilm’s non-destructive testing (NDT) products within the oil & gas market
  • Initiate sales to established and potential customers and through distributor network to achieve sales & profitability targets
  • Establish relationships with strategic customers, targets, distributors and industry network
  • Coordinate team resources throughout bidding, proposal and negotiation processes to secure business
  • Engage in commercial negotiations to secure long-term business agreements
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to expand market share
  • Maintain ongoing communication and support for customers and distributor network on account matters
  • Present and demonstrate NDT products to increase sales demand
  • Manage forecasting and customer purchasing schedules
  • Leverage technical staff for exposure information, problem solving and product testing
  • Provide statistical and technical information on Fujifilm and competitive products, including market trends and competitive activity
  • Perform sales tracking, maintain account lists, negotiate contracts, forecast, report weekly & monthly, evaluate performance and file expense reports
  • Attend and represent Fujifilm NDT at trade shows, sales/training seminars and industry meetings
  • Perform special projects and tasks as requested by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical field OR accredited NDT certification OR equivalent NDT work experience within the Oil and Gas industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales and customer management experience
  • Understanding and network within the NDT oil & gas testing and inspection industry
  • Proven track record in sales, business development and winning new business
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong customer relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter and a people person
  • Highly self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to multi-task and function well within a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel greater than 50%
  • Must comply with U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements and all other applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  • May be required to comply with vendor credentialing and vaccine requirements for facility access
