💰 $140,000 per year

About the role

  • Meet or exceed established revenue goals for the Region
  • Direct management responsibility for sales Territory Managers, including performance management, skill development, coaching and mentoring of sales technique and territory management
  • Direct sales responsibility for designated customer groups within a specific geographic Region
  • Manage sales performance of direct reports as it involves opportunity and pipeline development, forecasting and revenue generation
  • Manage and monitor communication and team effectiveness occurring between sales, applications team and partner sales channels
  • Report all product, marketplace or staff related matters of concern to Zone Director
  • Establish and nurture luminary physician relationships within assigned Region
  • Attendance at and sales support for national and/or regional trade shows in which SonoSite and/or distribution partners participate
  • Miscellaneous projects as determined
  • Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company's quality system

Requirements

  • A. or B.S. in life sciences, business administration, related area or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7+ years professional outside sales experience, with proven track record of growing sales
  • Previous leadership or management experience required
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Experience in life sciences industry
  • Experience in the medical diagnostic ultrasound arena is preferred
