About the role

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values.
  • Work closely with the Director of Hydrography and Commercial Team to identify market insights and develop market opportunities.
  • Execute strategies with Key Account Managers to connect client needs with international development aid and funding opportunities.
  • Develop opportunities and diversified revenue growth through early client engagement, built on trusted relationships and proactive consultative selling.
  • Attend events and conferences to increase Fugro’s brand exposure, identify new leads, and cultivate client contacts.
  • Conduct market assessments and develop go to market strategies for Fugro services.
  • Develop and manage regional partnerships that lead to opportunities.
  • Regularly input and update contacts, leads and opportunities in CRM.
  • Complete market assessment for coastal resilience, blue carbon, and marine protected areas.
  • Develop and Implement go to market strategies Hydrographic market solutions.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in Canada, without restrictions.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a valid passport, possible international travel/assignments may be required.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in Ecological, environmental, geological, geospatial, marine sciences, or related fields.
  • Have minimum of 2 years of experience in government contracting, preferably within the surveying, hydrography or offshore industry experience.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years or more of tendering, contract, or project management experience.
  • General understanding of the application of geo-data services.
  • Possess strong working knowledge of computers and fluent in a variety of software applications and CRM tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows operating system, including but not limited to Windows 7.
  • Must have excellent and effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • This job opportunity requires travel up to 50%.
