About the role
- Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values.
- Work closely with the Director of Hydrography and Commercial Team to identify market insights and develop market opportunities.
- Execute strategies with Key Account Managers to connect client needs with international development aid and funding opportunities.
- Develop opportunities and diversified revenue growth through early client engagement, built on trusted relationships and proactive consultative selling.
- Attend events and conferences to increase Fugro’s brand exposure, identify new leads, and cultivate client contacts.
- Conduct market assessments and develop go to market strategies for Fugro services.
- Develop and manage regional partnerships that lead to opportunities.
- Regularly input and update contacts, leads and opportunities in CRM.
- Complete market assessment for coastal resilience, blue carbon, and marine protected areas.
- Develop and Implement go to market strategies Hydrographic market solutions.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in Canada, without restrictions.
- Possess or be able to obtain a valid passport, possible international travel/assignments may be required.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Ecological, environmental, geological, geospatial, marine sciences, or related fields.
- Have minimum of 2 years of experience in government contracting, preferably within the surveying, hydrography or offshore industry experience.
- Have a minimum of 5 years or more of tendering, contract, or project management experience.
- General understanding of the application of geo-data services.
- Possess strong working knowledge of computers and fluent in a variety of software applications and CRM tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows operating system, including but not limited to Windows 7.
- Must have excellent and effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- This job opportunity requires travel up to 50%.
