About the role
- Implementation, configuration and administration of network components (switches, firewalls, wireless access points, proxy systems) as an IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
- Troubleshooting, incident resolution and performance optimization of the network
- Monitoring, ensuring and continuously improving network security
- Creation, updating and maintenance of system, operational and network infrastructure documentation
- Collaboration with internal teams and service-oriented communication with users and specialist departments
- Participation in on-call duty
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in network administration or IT infrastructure, e.g., as an IT System Administrator, IT specialist, Network Administrator, etc. (m/f/d)
- Solid knowledge in implementing and configuring network components (switches, firewalls, WLAN APs, proxy solutions)
- Strong understanding of network architectures, troubleshooting and security mechanisms
- Experience with Windows Server and virtualization environments is desirable
- Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, communication skills and customer orientation
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken, and willingness to travel internationally
