About the role

  • Responsible for the operation, availability, performance and optimization of our SAP systems (SAP ERP, SAP HCM, SAP S/4HANA and BW systems) as SAP Basis Specialist / Basis Administrator (m/f/d)
  • Planning and management of SAP lifecycle activities (hotfixes, patches, upgrades, releases)
  • Incident management, root cause analysis and remediation as well as monitoring of the SAP systems
  • Administration of operating systems, databases and user interfaces in conjunction with SAP, as well as provisioning of new clients and test environments
  • Hardware management (e.g., printers, scanners, etc.) and authorizations management
  • Active support for the SAP strategy and projects related to digital transformation and security projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SAP Basis administration, i.e., as an SAP Basis Specialist / Basis Administrator (m/f/d)
  • Qualification or training in the IT field, e.g., as an IT specialist / IT system administrator (m/f/d), degree such as Business Informatics / Computer Science or comparable qualification is an advantage
  • Confident experience with Linux server operating systems and at least one database system (e.g., IBM DB6 or HANA)
  • Enjoy working in a team, working independently and dealing with intercultural topics
