About the role
- Functional support and further development of production and planning processes in SAP ECC, with a focus on FUCHS-EMEA within the entities FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY GmbH and FUCHS SE
- Customizing and optimization in SAP PP-PI to model real process-manufacturing requirements
- Analysis of existing production and planning logics and derivation of improvement measures
- Support for the production, planning and supply chain departments on system-related issues
- Ensuring a stable, high-performance and transparent SAP operation in the production environment
- Optimization and further development of MRP and planning parameters
- Targeted use and functional assessment of APO functionalities
- Consideration of QA (quality management) aspects in production processes
- Coordination of external service providers for adjustments and extensions
- Creation of functional change requests and structured documentation
- Support in the S/4HANA transformation program (T2G) (providing ECC process knowledge, reviewing process and design decisions, supporting tests and functional approvals)
Requirements
- Completed degree in (business) computer science, business administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
- Alternatively, several years of professional experience in supporting and further developing the SAP PP modules, ideally with a focus on PP‑PI (Module PI)
- Very good process knowledge in production and production planning, preferably from a company in the process industry
- Experience in designing, implementing and rolling out processes in the P2M environment
- Solid knowledge of PP‑PI as well as interface knowledge to adjacent modules
- Basic knowledge of ABAP to be able to conceptually define development requirements
- Strong affinity for new technologies and willingness to work with modern SAP solutions (e.g., S/4HANA)
- High social competence as well as strong teamwork, communication and consulting skills
- Willingness to travel approx. 25% within the EMEA region
- Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken
