Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and internal team communications
Resolve customer issues with professionalism and urgency
Collaborate with purchasing, manufacturing, and sales to ensure smooth operations
Maintain and update customer account information accurately
Communicate pricing changes to customers and sales teams
Build strong relationships with regional sales representatives
Process orders, returns, and credit requests with precision and care.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2 years in customer service, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
A proactive, independent mindset with a “can-do” attitude
Commitment to excellence in customer interactions
Experience working under tight deadlines
Familiarity with ERP systems—SAP preferred; AS400, JD Edwards, or Great Plains also valued
Knowledge of export procedures is a plus.
