About the role

  • The Key Account Manager - Aftermarket is responsible for growing the Aftermarket business by utilizing market research, marketing, and sales tools, and developing an overall strategy to grow the business.
  • Acquires new accounts and grows existing base.
  • Works with distributor management & their representatives to focus on FUCHS within designated sales territory
  • Identifying and understanding customer needs, and evaluating business fit while applying a solutions-based approach to selling to obtain RFQs and/or other commercial opportunities.
  • Knowledge of FUCHS’ Aftermarket-related product portfolio and its applications.
  • Cooperates and collaborates closely with Product Management to ensure customer awareness of related products and their technical requirements.
  • Operates in a global network and seeks to understand what occurs in other geographies that can be leveraged in the US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, or Marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in sales
  • Decision maker with negotiation skills, willing to work under pressure
  • Strategic vision and planning while being proactive and goal-orientated
  • Open-minded, diplomatic, team-spirited, and comfortable working with international colleagues
  • Ability to travel up to 50% throughout the U.S.
  • Experience in lubricants and/or automotive industry is a plus.
