About the role
- Perform mechanical design for power system products under supervision
- Provide guidance to Level 1 Engineers and Designers
- Convert prototype designs into commercially viable mechanical systems
- Perform detailed calculations for system cooling requirements
- Confer with internal and external customers on product designs
- Inspect completed installations for conformance to specifications
- Compile data and write reports regarding engineering studies and projects
- Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of progressive engineering related experience or Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Technology with 6 years of progressive engineering related experience
- Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Solidworks knowledge is required.
