About the role
- Prepares and studies technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements
- Conducts field surveys and studies diagram and other data to identify and correct power system problems
- Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks
- Performs detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications, with direction from an upper-level Engineer
- Plans layout of electrical construction projects with direction from an upper level Engineer
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering - Electrical or Associate Degree in Electrical Technology
- 4 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)
- Preferred experience with AutoDesk Inventor
- Proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electrical terminology and symbols
- Knowledge of the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)
