About the role

  • Performing electrical power, lighting, and/or low voltage system engineering tasks for electrical construction projects
  • Conducting field surveys and studying diagram and other data to identify and correct power system problems
  • Preparing and studying technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements
  • Planning layout of electrical construction projects
  • Inspecting completed installations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications
  • Compiling data and writing reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects
  • Providing guidance to ensure that construction activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
  • Participating in customer/project interviews
  • Providing training for other technical personnel in areas of expertise.
  • Proactively providing guidance to Level’s 1 and 2 Engineers and Designers as project-specific tasks are executed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
  • 5 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience or Associate Degree in Electrical Technology
  • 9 years of progressive electrical engineering related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • AutoCAD/Revit knowledge is required
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
