About the role
- Manages, maintains, and organizes project Quality and Commissioning document filing structure
- Coordinates the flow of documents between project Preconstruction Managers, engineering, Quality and Commissioning, field construction team, and other departments
- Maintains document control standards including version control
- Assists in the creation of process documentation with the assistance of process and site subject matter experts
- Performs clerical typing duties to generate/update documents, as necessary
- Manages the timely distribution of latest revision level documentation
- Updates and maintains project document control programs and software
- Coordinates the development and distribution of project checklists, reports, and databases with the support of other Quality and Commissioning and document control team members
- Utilizes company software to generate and update project reports, checklists, and other documents as required by the project
- Manages the timely completion of project Quality and Commissioning documentation upload in project systems
- Assists the project team with maintaining documents and project closeout
- Proofreads newly created documents for grammatical errors and proper formatting
- Verifies equipment/asset naming aligns with current construction drawings
- Engages in all aspects of process improvement
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED or An Associates Degree
- Three to five years of administrative experience
- Five years of administrative experience or three years field experience in construction trades preferred
