About the role
- Manages daily operations of the Procurement Agents
- Executes standard purchasing processes and strategies including procure-to-pay definition and optimization
- Builds organizational capability through recruitment, development, and retention of top talent
- Holds team accountable for accuracy and managing department monthly KPI metrics
- Identifies cost savings opportunities and assists in achieving yearly cost reduction targets set by Procurement Manager
- Works with Strategic Category Leads to identify key and preferred suppliers for key categories of spend that support business objectives
- Applies creative problem-solving techniques and ideas for incumbents’ area of responsibility
- Manages suppliers and their performance
- Identifies supply chain issues, bringing those challenges forward for visibility, awareness, and resolution
- Consistently demonstrates exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 to 6 years of work experience required
- 1 to 3 years of corporate purchasing and project management experience
- 10% travel required
- Must work between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday
