About the role

  • People Management: Direct management of GTM Engineers (CPQ, PRM, and Generalist). Mentor the team on code quality, design patterns, and Salesforce best practices.
  • Sprint & Backlog Governance: Lead the Agile process. Prioritize the backlog, manage sprint planning, and set realistic delivery expectations with executive stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, and Finance).
  • Release Management: Oversee the CI/CD pipeline and sandbox strategy to ensure zero-downtime deployments across the ecosystem.
  • Holistic System Design: Own the "Big Picture." Ensure that the CPQ logic integrates seamlessly with the Partner Portal, Finance systems (ERP), and Marketing Automation.
  • Technical Debt Management: Conduct regular architectural reviews. Identify legacy "hacks" or inefficient flows and proactively schedule refactoring projects to maintain system health.
  • Cross-Functional Roadmap: Partner with GTM Leadership (VP of Sales Ops/RevOps) to translate business strategy into a 12-month technical roadmap.
  • Global Design: Act as the final reviewer for all major system changes, ensuring they don't break downstream reporting or upstream lead flow.
  • Tooling Evaluation: Lead the evaluation and implementation of new technologies in the GTM stack (e.g., AI-driven forecasting tools, data enrichment services, or billing engines).
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure the entire GTM ecosystem meets enterprise-grade security standards, particularly regarding data privacy and external partner access.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in the Salesforce Ecosystem, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or lead architect capacity.
  • Deep Architectural Knowledge: Must understand how Quote-to-Cash, Partner Ecosystems, and Lead-to-Legacy systems interact in a complex SaaS environment.
  • Agile Mastery: Proven experience managing engineering sprints, using tools like JIRA/Asana to manage high-velocity team outputs.
  • Communication: Ability to explain "Technical Debt" to a non-technical VP of Sales in a way that emphasizes business risk and ROI.
  • Technical Stack: Advanced knowledge of Apex, LWC, Salesforce Flow, and Integration middleware (Workato, MuleSoft, or Zapier).
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Application/System Architect (Required). Salesforce Platform Developer II. Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • Candidates must be willing to work a schedule that includes an overlap from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM PST (approx. 1:00 AM – 3:00 AM PHT) for daily stakeholder alignment.
