Contribute to the implementation of AI-based features — from prototype to production deployment (e.g., for quality assurance, wear-part management, etc.)
Monitor and further develop features and models throughout their entire lifecycle
Design and implement robust and scalable data processing pipelines from various data sources (internal sources, devices, etc.)
Contribute to building a solid, high-quality data foundation for analyzing large datasets and using them for machine learning models
Work closely within your Agile team and collaborate with other development teams and research projects

Requirements

Degree in IT, Data Science, or Software Development (university or university of applied sciences), or a comparable qualification with relevant practical experience
At least 2 years of professional experience in data engineering or data science
Basic understanding of our current tech stack (Kubernetes and container orchestration, Python, CI/CD pipelines, Argo)
Solid knowledge of various database technologies and processing large volumes of data (experience with Pandas and PySpark DataFrames, Delta Lake)
Ideally: experience operating AI solutions in production in cloud environments or on edge/devices
High degree of initiative and enthusiasm for solving complex problems
Structured and quality-conscious working style
Business-fluent English
