About the role
- Directs and oversees regional sales activities to meet or exceed regional sales goals and objectives
- Leads operational efforts through subordinates to ensure effective achievement of goals
- Directly controls the broad activities of Sales Managers through the implementation of company-wide policies
- Evaluates markets and customers to identify and develop opportunities that will increase sales
- Develops and implements a Regional Business Plan to maximize sales goals
- Cultivates high level customer relationships to promote the company’s position within the industry
- Communicates business climate and industry trends to senior management
- Develops strategies for direct departments and contributes to divisional strategies
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of related experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales required
- 5+ years of experience in sales management
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Strong project management skills.
