About the role
- Develop market intelligence and macroeconomic projections for strategic planning
- Execute sourcing plans in line with category strategies
- Identify cost effectiveness and other optimization opportunities
- Lead procurement sourcing/optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders
- Drive source-to-contract procurement excellence
- Implement best practices in vendor segmentation
- Develop strong analytics internally to drive cost transparency and benchmarking
Requirements
- 5-7 years in procurement/category management in an international environment
- Good understanding of freight and 3PL market and warehousing and distribution processes
- Technical expertise on pharma logistics including freight, warehousing and final mile distribution
- Basic regulatory knowledge for multiple countries
- STEM/Economics graduate preferred
- Proficient in data analysis, financial analysis, and office literacy
