About the role

  • Report to the Senior Global Brand Director and support Brand Strategy Center of Excellence
  • Deliver top-tier global services to business partners in brand strategy
  • Establish and maintain industry-standard global practices in process, planning and stakeholder partnership
  • Manage brand marketing, communications, and strategy for the global Fresenius Medical Care brand
  • Develop, champion, and implement initiatives to ensure brand relevance and strengthen brand equity
  • Hardwire the global brand narrative into business operations and drive adoption through education and inspiration
  • Shape and share overall global brand strategy including identity, narrative, equity, health, reputation, and governance
  • Manage branding projects: brand architecture, naming, portfolio alignment, messaging, positioning, visual systems and assets
  • Drive audience insights work in partnership with analytics and segment marketing
  • Communicate brand objectives to internal and external partners and inform market development and creative briefs
  • Collaborate with global internal and external partners for integrated brand campaign development
  • Partner with regional peers to address cultural nuances across North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific, and LATAM
  • Conduct competitive, category, and industry mapping to inform marketing and innovation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Advanced Degree desirable
  • Concentrations in Management, Marketing or Advertising preferred
  • Min of 7 years’ experience in marketing, brand, research, brand strategy, and implementation
  • Agency experience a plus
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience developing insight-collection approaches (qualitative and quantitative)
  • Strong ability to foster trusting relationships with cross functional teammates
  • Demonstrated interest in transformational storytelling focused on driving brand excellence and culture
  • Curiosity and ability to navigate complex challenges and articulate paths forward
  • Tact, diplomacy and professionalism in interactions
  • Strong program and project management skills coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Resourceful and thoughtful problem solver
  • Experience working in teams
  • Occasional travel required
