About the role

  • Deliver expert-level support for a wide range of technologies used across Corporate Mine Operations, ensuring reliability, uptime, and seamless functionality in fast-paced operational environments.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic support for network infrastructure, data communication systems, mining technology platforms, reliability and monitoring systems, production systems, network clients, and 2-way radios.
  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor by guiding other technicians in effective problem resolution, troubleshooting methodologies, and repair procedures.
  • Support complex network and infrastructure components, ensuring optimal performance, security, and adherence to established standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help ensure smooth operations within Command Center and Remote Operations settings.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Six (6) years of experience supporting and maintaining information system technologies AND Two (2) technical certifications relevant to the role;
  • OR Eight (8) years of experience supporting and maintaining information system technologies AND One (1) technical certification relevant to the role;
  • OR Ten (10) years of experience supporting and maintaining information system technologies.
  • Preferred Qualifications High School diploma or GED
  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS/IT or related discipline
  • CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification
  • Rajant, Cisco, or similar network certifications
