About the role
- Design and develop engaging, outcome-driven learning solutions across modalities (e-learning, instructor-led, virtual, blended, and microlearning).
- Create high-quality training assets including courses, videos, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments, and multi-day curricula.
- Apply adult learning principles and behavior change strategies to ensure learning translates into on-the-job performance.
- Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to identify learning needs, define objectives, and align solutions to business goals.
- Conduct needs analyses to diagnose performance gaps and recommend appropriate learning or non-learning interventions.
- Translate complex operational processes into clear, learner-centered content.
- Support and enable training delivery by preparing facilitator materials, managing learning assets, and ensuring readiness for launch.
- Collaborate with trainers and operations teams to ensure seamless rollout and adoption of learning solutions.
- Define success metrics and evaluate learning effectiveness using appropriate evaluation methods (e.g., Kirkpatrick Levels, performance data).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related role
- Experience designing both virtual and instructor-led training programs
- Strong experience developing e-learning, multimedia content, and structured curricula
- Experience working in fast-paced, operational environments; healthcare or regulated industry experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise/Storyline, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Understanding of SCORM/xAPI and learning analytics
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and knowledge management platforms is a plus
- Experience leveraging AI tools for content development or workflow optimization is highly desirable
