About the role

  • Leading the planning, governance and delivery of people systems projects from initiation through to implementation and post‑go‑live review.
  • Working with stakeholders to gather requirements, map current and future processes, and translate these into system specifications.
  • Manage project plans, risks, dependencies and budgets, ensuring delivery to agreed scope, timescales and organisational priorities.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external implementation partners to support seamless system integration.
  • Support change management, testing and user adoption, ensuring systems are compliant, user‑friendly and fit for purpose.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of delivering HR or people systems implementations, ideally within a multi‑site or national organisation.
  • Strong project management capability, with experience managing complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable business analysis skills, including requirements gathering and process mapping.
  • Experience working with HR, payroll or workforce systems (e.g. HRIS, ATS, LMS).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a values‑led environment.
  • Ideally candidates will hold a project management qualification and have experience supporting organisational change, but this is not essential.
