About the role

  • Reporting to the Human Resources Manager
  • Driving the HR agenda to improve business performance
  • Work with the HR Manager to streamline and maintain HR processes
  • Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure highest levels of HR service delivery regarding development, appraisals, benefits, and employee information
  • Conduct Exit Interviews and analyze turnover trends
  • Support data analysis for workforce planning
  • Communicate to the Business regarding updates to Human Resource policies
  • Give Human Resource advice and support to Store Management
  • Ensure Performance Management systems are in place and conducted
  • Effectively manage Absenteeism
  • Manage and advise on execution of investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures
  • General HR Administration duties such as maintaining Personnel records and Payroll data

Requirements

  • Experience in a busy HR function is essential
  • We are looking for a professional with training in Human Resources
  • Over 2 years of experience in the Human Resources Function
  • Fluent in Dutch & a good command of spoken and written English
  • Solid knowledge of Netherlands Employment Law
  • Good knowledge of HR Systems
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (namely, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical and teamwork skills
  • High capacity for planning, organization and initiative
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills but reserved with an ethical and deontological sense
  • Ability to communicate with different hierarchical levels
  • Availability to travel
