About the role
- Execute buy and sell orders for corporate bonds, ensuring best execution and compliance
- Monitor global financial markets and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities
- Provide market commentary and actionable ideas to portfolio managers
- Liaise with brokers and internal teams to optimize trading and resolve issues
- Prepare reports on trading activity and maintain accurate trading records
- Ensure all trading activities meet compliance and regulatory standards
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience trading fixed-income securities, focusing on corporate bonds (investment grade and high yield)
- CFA or post-graduate degree preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
- Deep understanding of financial markets and investment processes
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency with market data platforms and trading systems, including Charles River or Aladdin
