About the role
- Inspect, monitor, control, and patrol work sites, assigned facility, and/or people
- Maintain security at all hospital outlets
- Collect and complete paperwork and keep daily reports accurate and neat
- Check equipment to ensure safety
- Understand and operate access control system
- Carry out assignments as directed and demonstrate understanding of policy and procedures
- Treat confidential information appropriately and regularly report security incidents to supervisor
- Handle emergency/crisis situations and manage violent or potentially violent circumstances appropriately
- Enforce rules, assist others, and support the Mission and Values of OLOL
- Perform other duties as assigned and demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities for all populations
Requirements
- 5 years' experience in law enforcement, military, and or corrections
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Successful completion of Louisiana POST Weapon Cert.
- Valid driver's license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
