About the role
- Facilitate traffic flow and provide directions and assistance to patients, guests, and visitors
- Promote safety and maintain security at all hospital outlets
- Greet patients, visitors, and other guests and provide information to assist them in getting to destinations
- Manage wheelchair distribution and provide security escorts to/from vehicles as requested
- Patrol premises to ensure security of patients, visitors, and guests and ensure fire zone areas are clear
- Issue parking violation tickets and write Security Incident/Occurrence reports for violations
- Apply crisis prevention and intervention techniques and respond to hospital emergencies (all Codes), community disasters, and severe weather warnings
- Work with Tracer Security Services to boot chronic parking violators
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
Requirements
- 1 year experience
- High School or equivalent
- BLS Certification
