About the role
- Develop, standardize, centralize, and optimize the referral process, workflows, and education.
- Strategically develop relationships, operational infrastructure, and best practices that allow the referral program to improve efficiency, patient access, and provider relations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve strategic initiatives related to referral management, patient outreach, and patient access.
- Direct the assessment, design, development, planning, implementation, data collection/reporting, and evaluation of referral management and specialist utilization.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Health Administration or Business Administration - Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Administration or Business - Required
- 8 years of related experience in a corporate or business setting, managed health care, hospital, or insurance environment, with at least three of those years at the management level or higher - Required
- 6 years progressively responsible experience in health care, including demonstrated success in an administrative capacity with responsibilities working directly with physicians - Required
