About the role

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers and software developers, to gather and analyse business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features
  • Create detailed user stories, use cases, and process workflows to drive product development
  • Engage in product design activities, providing input on user experience and feature functionality to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops, effectively communicating insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support the software development lifecycle by participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and product reviews
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance
  • Analyse data and performance metrics post-launch to measure the success of product enhancements and inform future development

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the financial services or brokerage industry
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions in a technical environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Knowledge of payment providers and fintech products is highly desirable
