About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Develop and execute performance and load tests using Apache JMeter
  • Use AI tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and analysis
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
  • Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports
  • Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
  • Ensure best practices in test automation, coding standards, and framework design

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing
  • Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript
  • Experience with API testing (Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools)
  • Experience in performance testing using Apache JMeter
  • Good understanding of automation framework design (POM, modular frameworks, etc.)
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
  • Good debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
