About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Develop and execute performance and load tests using Apache JMeter
- Use AI tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and analysis
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
- Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports
- Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
- Ensure best practices in test automation, coding standards, and framework design
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in automation testing
- Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript
- Experience with API testing (Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools)
- Experience in performance testing using Apache JMeter
- Good understanding of automation framework design (POM, modular frameworks, etc.)
- Experience with version control tools such as Git
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
