About the role

  • Own and manage the Canadian product assortment in alignment with global collections
  • Lead assortment selection, quantity planning and allocation decisions for stores
  • Ensure effective product rotation and seasonal flow
  • Execute local pricing in accordance with global pricing guidelines and frameworks
  • Manage pricing accuracy across systems and stores
  • Support margin optimization through pricing, pack-size and assortment decisions
  • Monitor pricing performance and recommend adjustments when required
  • Analyze sales performance, sell-through, margins and stock levels
  • Optimize inventory to maximize availability, sales and profitability
  • Support forecasting and demand planning processes
  • Handle product flow between/ to stores to optimize availability and stock holding
  • Follow up on local logistics budgets with partners
  • Implement inventory management routines to optimize stock holding and mitigate margin erosion
  • Act as the main contact point for global logistics partners and Commercial Trade
  • Work closely with Global HQ Merchandising, Pricing, Supply Chain and Planning teams
  • Partner with Retail Operations to support store performance
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising on launches and campaigns

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Retail Merchandising, Pricing, Assortment Management or Merchandise Planning / Category Management
  • Strong understanding of retail pricing, promotions, inventory, and margin
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset
  • Advanced Excel skills – mandatory (analysis, pivot tables, formulas)
  • High proficiency in working with retail systems / ERP / merchandising tools
  • Experience managing data across multiple systems with high accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation
  • Experience working with centralized/global assortments – strong advantage
  • Retail experience in value, lifestyle, toys, gifts or fast-rotation categories – advantage
  • Fluent English – required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, Economics or related field
