About the role
- Develops and manages a portfolio of commercial relationships
- Maintaining strong asset quality through solid underwriting and monitoring
- Growth by developing new and existing business relationships
- Representing the credit union in the local community through active community involvement
- Promoting and upholding the Fox Purpose, Mission, Vision, and Values
- Proactively managing a portfolio of commercial members by delivering a high level of service
- Identifying and engaging prospective members through networking and outreach
- Partnering with other business lines to provide collaborative solutions to members
- Acting as a first line of defense to manage risk through ongoing monitoring of an existing commercial portfolio
- Portfolio management through timely annual reviews and loan renewals
- Proactively monitoring and addressing payment delinquencies and overdrafts to maintain portfolio quality and compliance
- Managing the loan process from origination to closing,
- Serving as a leader within the Commercial Team by actively sharing ideas, promoting collaboration, and mentoring others
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or related field
- Seven+ years of proven related experience
- Two+ years of commercial underwriting/credit experience is required
- Thorough knowledge of commercial banking products and holistic financial solutions
- Proven track record in working with all levels of senior management
- Excellent interpersonal skills to maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for members and credit union team members
- Strong initiative, self-direction, and a focus on financial relationship building
