About the role

  • Management over Tax Team Deliverables including tax return preparation and review resource allocation, end-to-end process refinement, and inter-department collaboration on tax season readiness
  • Management of Client Finance and Accounting Deliverables including custom financial statements preparation, trial balance and workpaper preparation for audit support, and month/year end close process support
  • Client Communication, Training, and Resolution as subject matter expert and liaison regarding tax and accounting matters
  • People Leadership including recruitment and hiring for tax and accounting teams and performance review administration

Requirements

  • CPA Required
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Excellent technical and analytical skills
  • Strong ability to learn quickly and take initiative
  • Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while ensuring internal SLAs and deadlines are met
  • Strong ability to identify problems and recommend solutions in a demanding and fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of software applications and mastery of computer and web-based products not limited to MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, finance software, and Salesforce; experience with GoSystem Tax preferred
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
