About the role

  • As our QA Manager in Manchester, you aren’t just managing a process - you are the guardian of a platform that directly impacts provider workdays and patient lives.
  • You’ll have the autonomy to shape our QA culture, standards, and strategy from the ground up.
  • You aren't afraid to 'put your foot down' if a product isn't ready for primetime, acting as the final point of accountability for release readiness.
  • From deep-dive regression testing to leading complex UAT implementations with external clients, you ensure our move-fast culture doesn't break things.
  • You will hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing QA team while remaining comfortably 'in the trenches' with manual and exploratory testing.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in QA/Software testing with a background in Senior, Lead, or Managerial roles.
  • Proficiency in Playwright for automated testing and Postman for APIs.
  • An AI-Native Mindset: You already use AI tools to help your workflow or have experience testing AI products.
  • UAT Expertise: Proven track record of owning testing end-to-end and coordinating with external clients.
  • Hybrid Leadership: You know when to automate, when to dig in by hand, and how to scale a team without losing quality.
