About the role

  • - Participate in project teams for the delivery of professional services to clients across a wide range of industries.
  • - Develop and assess internal control systems and corporate governance frameworks
  • - Design, implement, and review enterprise risk management frameworks, including risk policies and procedures.
  • - Plan and perform internal audit engagements.
  • - Contribute to the development of ESG strategies, policies, and frameworks.
  • - Prepare ESG performance reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD).
  • - Act as a trusted advisor to clients on banking regulations, supervisory guidelines, and regulatory expectations related to risk management and governance practices.

Requirements

  • - BSc in Economics or Business Administration or other relevant area (MSc in Risk Management or relevant field will be considered as an asset)
  • - Professional certifications such as ACCA, CIA, FRM will be considered as an asset
  • - 7-10 years of working experience in Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance or other relevant field
  • - Experience in the Banking Sector, familiarity with Greek and European Banking regulatory frameworks
  • - Familiarity with ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD) and experience in preparing sustainability reports
  • - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • - Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details.
  • - Competent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • - Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
