About the role
- Serve as a leader within the Commercial Account Management team, contributing to the development and execution of the group’s strategic roadmap
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of global biotech strategy initiatives
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in delivery models, operational processes, partnership and governance frameworks, cross-business unit collaboration, and tools to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with delivery and cross-functional leaders, enterprise-level business unit leads, and business development (BD) leads for seamless integration of relationship engagement, strategy and delivery across the clinical development lifecycle of biotech portfolio accounts
- Represent operational voice in client engagements, proposals, and bid defenses tailoring to biotech client needs
- Partner with the regional BD team to identify and prioritize strategic biotech accounts to build and support long-term relationship growth and client satisfaction,
- Provide executive-level oversight for the planning, execution, and delivery of global clinical programs across the strategic biotech client portfolio
- Promote professional standards and ethical conduct that reflect Fortrea’s values and mission
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in clinical research, project delivery, and/or consulting within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry, with 5+ years of director-level leadership experience
- BS degree or higher in life sciences, public health, health economics, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MS, MPH, PhD) is preferred
- Proven track record of strategic leadership and successful delivery of complex global clinical programs
- Strong business acumen, client-facing experience, and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
