About the role

  • Build consultative relationships with Operating Room (OR) Directors and Administrators, Sterilization Processing Technicians, and Materials Managers
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell products and services to achieve quarterly quotas from our current customers
  • Collaborate with account managers to set appointments and optimize the sales efforts of our company
  • Use consultative selling techniques to identify solutions to meet customer needs
  • Establish and maintain optimum account call frequencies which lead to better relationships with the customer, better understanding of the customer’s business and needs, and the accomplishment of the sales quota
  • Negotiate and renew ASP’s service contracts with current customers
  • In-service accounts by demonstrating some product applications, functionality and remotely through web-based technologies
  • Speak with clients over the phone, email or video conferencing in order to schedule, remind and follow up on appointments
  • Document sales activities within the Company’s established Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system

Requirements

  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Enthusiasm for sales and improving patient outcomes
  • Fast learner
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of the medical supplies/device business and healthcare environment a plus
  • Ability to comprehend complex scenarios and determine correct next steps
  • Strong communication and coloration skills
