About the role

  • Under the direction of the Data Operations Manager, responsible for reporting and analytics to support the coordination and execution of corporate, market, or regional initiatives
  • Design, build and support Power BI reports that improve ability to provide outstanding service to external clients
  • Assist in the development and reporting of key performance metrics to help drive growth
  • Assist with annual strategic planning, policy deployment, and monthly forecasting processes to support financial leadership team
  • Understand key metrics to identify trends and opportunities
  • Work directly with Leadership on business-critical reporting needs
  • Integrate and model data from diverse data sources to create informative data stories through Power BI reports
  • Provide support for existing Power BI reports, troubleshooting data issues
  • Assist in the implementation and training of existing and new Power BI reports
  • Identify opportunities to optimize and modernize legacy reports and data models
  • Continuously improve reporting catalog and data infrastructure
  • Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional business partners
  • Leverage Agile project management tools to track progress on multiple projects simultaneously and support team success
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field or 3-5 years’ experience managing and analyzing large data sets, and 2-4 years working with Business Intelligence tools
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills, including familiarity with analyzing reports & deriving insights from data
  • Strong financial acumen & demonstrated ability to apply business financial knowledge to support growth and to provide meaningful analytics
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with, influence and communicate with a variety of key stakeholders, including Leadership
  • Ability to learn the use of BI tools and programming languages for reporting business metrics and financial performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Power BI)
  • Advanced proficiency in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization using Power BI, SQL, and Excel
  • Experience working with Marketo connecting data and process mapping
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple initiatives at the same time while not sacrificing quality and maintaining keen attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-directed, with the ability to structure weekly and 2-week sprint schedules to be successful
  • Learns quickly when facing new challenges; and is motivated by solving problems
  • Flexible; readily accepts change; open to new ideas, willingness to tackle the “impossible,” and views new experiences as growth opportunities.
