About the role
- Create and maintain high‑quality documentation, including online help, user guides, API docs, and release notes for both technical and business audiences.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Support, and Professional Services to understand product features and user needs.
- Translate design specifications and technical information into clear, user‑focused content.
- Follow established standards for technical writing, and contribute to improving them over time.
- Plan, write, review, and publish multiple deliverables in alignment with release timelines.
- Proactively identify documentation gaps, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
- Stay up to date on assigned products and the tools and technologies used in our authoring environment.
- Support team initiatives that elevate our content strategy and documentation quality.
- Assist with documentation for additional product lines when needed.
Requirements
- Experience creating product documentation for software, SaaS, or technical platforms.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, organized, accessible content.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with documentation tools, content management systems, or structured authoring environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort partnering with engineers, PMs, and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with API documentation or developer-focused content.
- Knowledge of UX writing principles or user-centered design.
- Ability to contribute to documentation standards and process improvements.
- Background with tools such as Markdown, XML/DITA, Git, or similar.
