As the Global Director of Downstream Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for the Global Equipment Quality Assurance business. This includes involvement in setting strategic direction for the worldwide business, commercial planning to meet revenue and profitability targets, building & leading a high-performance marketing team, and working cross-functionally to integrate marketing strategies within R&D, operations, clinical, reimbursement, and sales.

**Team Leadership & Development **
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of downstream Marketing Managers
- Cultivate a culture of excellence, inclusion, and accountability.
- Drive and manage capital, fixed, and variable budgets for manufacturing sites, offering comprehensive variance reporting, absorption accounting analysis, forecasting, and necessary corrective actions.
- Set clear objectives and ensure alignment to Operating Company and divisional goals
- Collaborate with HR on organizational and talent development, talent risk management, and succession planning initiatives.
- Be a change agent in Daily Management to drive results through Safety, Quality, Deliver, Inventory and Productivity
**Commercial Execution & Market Development**
- Drive global launch readiness and execution for new products and indication expansions.
- Develop and drive execution of the US marketing plan.
- Collaborate with regional marketing and sales teams to adapt strategies for local success.
- Partner with integrated marketing to develop compelling messaging and commercial assets, and to generate awareness through omnichannel marketing and convention strategy.
- Partner with functional leadership in developing go-to-market and market development strategies including operations, clinical, health economics and reimbursement and education.
- Establish strong relationships with influential healthcare professionals, societies and institutional decision makers including those in clinical and health economics.
- Employ market research to regularly assess market opportunities and trends.
- Understand the multi-stakeholder needs and key issues to successfully develop and position the portfolio in the marketplace.
**Cross Functional Collaboration**
- Build strong partnerships with other functional leaders (including business development, R&D, clinical, regulatory, sales and finance) to guide product innovation and market success.
- Partner closely with WW regional managers in adapting global marketing strategy and executing regional plans.
- Establish a practice of consistent communication across all global stakeholders.
- Utilize Gemba techniques to foster and extend our Continuous Improvement (Fortive Business System) and Lean Culture
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Marketing and Management experience.
- 5+ year management experience in med technology or biotech
- Global product launch experience
- Understanding marketing, marketing strategy, commercial/sales process & operations
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships at all organizational levels globally
- Track record of success leading cross-functionally to develop plans and tools to maximize sales potential
- Proficiency in digital tools including Microsoft Office products (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel 30%-40% domestically and globally
