Vice President

• Lead automated controls, design and delivery
• Own the design and implementation of automated controls embedded directly into investment, underwriting, settlements, finance and data workflows
• Own the control execution and operation through the development life cycle and identify clear accountability for control ownership and execution once in production, including transition of ownership/execution to accountable team
• Translate financial, operational, IT, cyber, data governance and AI risk requirements into automated and other controls embedded in investment, underwriting, settlements, finance, and data workflows
• Identify risks associated with business processes and recommend, design and document controls to address those risks
• Simplify and standardize control processes so that controls are “built-in” rather than added on

• Work with data, technology, and architecture teams to build controls into data pipelines (data quality checks, reconciliations, lineage, access control, etc.)

• Design, build and maintain automated internal financial controls over settlements, reserving, and financial reporting, ensuring controls execute reliably and produce auditable evidence
• Work with IT to review/confirm appropriate ITGCs (access, change management, operations) for key applications and the new platform, supporting ICFR where applicable
• Establish a process and accountability for maintaining control documentation, evidence, and issue tracking as part of data-to-day operations
• Work with IT to review/confirm embedded automated controls have been established to manage operational and technology risks including process failures, data loss, unauthorized access, and system misuse
• Partner with Information Security to ensure robust IAM, logging, monitoring, and incident detection within critical processes
• Support governance of AI/machine learning and analytics models, including controls over data sourcing, versioning, approvals, performance monitoring, and model changes
• Serve as a control lead on transformation initiatives, ensuring controls are considered from design through implementation
• Establish and maintain operating model for automated controls, including ownership, lifecycle management, evidence, exceptions and remediation
• Drive adoption of automation-first, controls-by-design practices through hands-on engagement, workshops and training with business and technology teams
• Establish continuous control monitoring and follow up on issues and remediation to manage risk and control performance in real time
• Investigate control exceptions, coordinate remediation and ensure sustainable fixes are implemented
• Develop metrics and dashboards to assess control coverage, reliability, and efficiency, and continuously identify opportunities to further automate, rationalize and simplify controls

QA Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain automated data quality checks, validation rules, and exception-handling pipelines using Python
• Implement and maintain data quality frameworks aligned with DAMA-DMBOK and internal governance standards
• Develop and implement data quality metrics, scorecards, and dashboards to track completeness, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and validity across reinsurance datasets
• Build and maintain data quality monitoring pipelines that integrate with existing data infrastructure (e.g., data lake, data warehouse, ETL/ELT workflows)
• Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and business stakeholders to define acceptable quality thresholds and remediation workflows
• Investigate root causes of data quality issues across investment data, treaty data, claims data, and exposure datasets; document findings and drive resolution

Senior Associate, Data Quality Engineering

Accounting Manager

• Serve as the technical specialist for complex reinsurance transactions and policy interpretations, with specific expertise in ASC 944, Financial Services – Insurance.
• Research, interpret, and establish accounting policies for complex reinsurance structures and emerging transactions, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and audit defensibility.
• In close collaboration with actuarial, tax, and financial reporting teams, research, analyze, and prepare accounting policies in relation to U.S. GAAP, SEC, U.S. Statutory and Bermuda statutory and Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) accounting and reporting guidance relevant to reinsurance, insurance and other emerging issues.
• Provides technical accounting guidance that informs transaction structuring and execution.
• Monitor, analyze, and document developments (including new standards) from the FASB, SEC, NAIC and BMA that could impact the Company’s accounting policies, practices, and disclosures.
• Lead the design and documentation of financial processes and controls to promote compliance with the Company’s internal control program, with a specific focus on technical accounting matters.
• Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing timely guidance on accounting policy implications to support corporate development and strategic initiatives, including but not limited to reinsurance transactions.
• Provide coaching, training, and technical guidance to accounting and finance team members as needed.

• Serve as the technical specialist for complex investment asset classes and structures under the requirements of U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting
• Main point of contact for the investment office for complex transactions and structures for investments
• Proactively adopt and integrate AI-powered tools and platforms into research and execution workflows
• Be a trusted resource for the investment accounting team regarding all technical accounting matters
• Assist in researching, assessing, and documenting the accounting implications for significant or unusual transactions
• Monitoring, analyzing, and documenting developments from the FASB, SEC and NAIC
• Contribute to the documentation of financial processes and controls
• Provide real-time advice regarding U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting policy implications

Vice President, Investment Accounting Policy

Analytics Engineer

• Deliver well-architected data solutions in partnership with data platform engineers, data governance, data science, and data analytics/visualization peers.
• Partner with business teams to design data solutions with the ability to mentor early career data engineers.
• Lead build-out and deployment of data pipelines.
• Ensure reliability, scalability and governance of data pipelines.

• Review transaction documents including deal information memorandum, appraisals, product profiles, contracts, experience studies, and other materials associated with prospective transactions.
• Review pricing assumptions and internal underwriting diligence.
• Review the analysis of cedants’ experience to ensure sufficient diligence was performed, data is credible, and proper controls were employed in setting assumptions.
• Review investment strategies and their inherent risks in light of liabilities in a given transaction.
• Ensure pricing assumptions are reasonable in light of cedant’s experience, company experience, industry experience, and professional judgment.
• Validate pricing models and results.
• Review pricing model design, results, and the peer review (challenger) process.
• Recommend sensitivity and stress tests and evaluate their impacts.
• Perform independent validation of pricing models in their entirety or specific pricing results, including the development of replication models where necessary.
• Identify, assess, and communicate deal risks.
• Risks include, but are not limited to, actuarial assumption risk, investment risks (credit, ALM, liquidity), operational risk, regulatory and tax risk, and expense risk.

• Support FACET actuarial modeling platform standup and expansion.
• Work closely with model developers and end users to ensure timely delivery of functionalities.
• Ensure proper design and change management of data, actuarial code, interface and pipeline automation.
• Test and validate cross-module model changes.
• Ensure FACET supports enterprise ALM use cases including:
• Long-Range Projections (LRP)
• Embedded Value (EV)
• Pricing (challenger and production applications)

• Support capital optimization efforts across entities and regulatory regimes, including economic framework and internal model initiatives.
• Support Bermuda regulatory initiatives including establishing production processes for group supervision, evaluating and implementing changes to the regulatory regime, and leading internal capital model development.
• Implement transformations within capital management across all functional areas to improve system and modeling capabilities and deliver reporting timeline efficiencies.
• Support model validation and governance efforts to ensure robust control framework, transparency and documentation of critical models within capital management function.
• Support company growth initiatives by evaluating new business including reinsurance and acquisition to ensure capital is appropriately valued with respect to pricing standards and inforce reporting.
