About the role

  • Fortanix is a dynamic start-up solving data protection challenges. Role: design, build, maintain observability platform; collaborate with product managers and engineers to determine customer requirements; design, develop, deploy observability features; optimize and scale observability infrastructure; participate in code reviews; contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong experience in backend development and building distributed systems
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Rust, Go, Java or C++
  • Deep understanding of observability concepts, tools, and techniques is a plus
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS, Azure and GCP
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
