About the role

  • Support our Silicon Photonics wafer probe system product
  • Install and commission probers and accessories, including final acceptance testing in accordance with test and acceptance regulations
  • Independently perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites across the EMEA service area
  • Prepare commissioning records and acceptance reports
  • Provide technical training and guidance to customers
  • Troubleshoot and repair probers remotely (telephone/remote support) and on-site
  • Process and document work orders and service calls promptly in accordance with FormFactor guidelines
  • Actively collaborate with other FormFactor departments to drive continuous product improvement
  • Participate regularly in qualification activities
  • Comply with all internal and customer-site health and safety requirements

Requirements

  • Degree or technical qualification in electrical engineering, automation technology or a related field
  • Typically 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in silicon photonics and/or semiconductor test
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Accurate, punctual, and a good team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English
  • Proficient with common MS Office applications
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel
