About the role
- Lead the development and execution of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) frameworks for electrical assemblies to ensure flawless product launches.
- Drive the entire product industrialization lifecycle, from influencing early Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to managing end-of-life quality dispositions and continuous improvement.
- Resolve high-impact, complex technical issues at supplier sites by coordinating cross-functional teams (Design, Reliability, and Test) to implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Determine the methods and procedures for new supplier programs, supervising supplier resources to ensure Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and yield targets align with Form’s long-term scale.
- Act as a project leader and mentor, holding domestic and international CMs accountable to rigorous industrialization timelines and world-class manufacturing standards.
- Network with key stakeholders to align supplier capabilities with Form Energy’s technology roadmap, traveling (20%) to audit sites and verify process stability firsthand.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in new product development and manufacturing of power conversion assemblies (e.g., inverters, transformers, DC/DC converters)
- BS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
- Deep experience implementing PPAP, conducting SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) investigations, and managing supplier quality systems
- Demonstrated mastery in developing design documentation (BOMs, drawing packages) and optimizing manufacturing/assembly processes for cost and scale
- Ability to lead without formal authority, removing "blocks" for the team and providing technical mentorship to both internal peers and external partners

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
