About the role
- Serve as a strategic partner and coach to senior leadership, including VP+ Manufacturing and Operations leaders.
- Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management initiatives to support growth.
- Identify issues, challenge assumptions, and proactively run problems to ground as they arise.
- Lead and drive key organizational transformations, including integrating new teams and optimizing reporting structures.
- Drive existing talent strategies and programs, such as performance management and career pathing.
- Function as a visible and trusted site HR leader for the West Virginia workforce.
- Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair policy application.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Use People data and analytics to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
- 9+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an industrial, factory, and / or manufacturing environment.
- A builder’s mentality: experience building, scaling, and growing HR infrastructure - not just sustaining it.
- Proven track record of leading organizational transformations and managing large-scale change initiatives.
- Deep experience working with hourly production workforces across multiple shifts.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect People strategy to business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility.
- Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Deep knowledge of employee relations, labor laws, policy best practices, and compliance obligations.
- A builder's mindset, with the ability to create new programs and processes from scratch.
