About the role
- Lead the Future of Forests in Indonesia
- Define the country strategy in line with regional priorities
- Provide leadership in setting and implementing a national government advocacy agenda
- Support FSC International’s System Integrity effort as required in Indonesia
- Direct the development, operation and management of forest stewardship standards
- Develop strong and collaborative working relationships with FSC Network
- Represent the organization in forums, conferences, national and international events
Requirements
- Graduate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent level of experience
- At least 15 years of professional experience in a senior management position with an international and multi-cultural and/or multi-stakeholder organisation
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong cultural sensitivity and good interpersonal and communication skills
- Solutions oriented, analytical mindset, creative and organized
- Native in Bahasa Indonesia and fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
